Position can be performed from any Northeast company office location, with opportunity for office and remote work.

Position Description:
Engage with Client to anticipate product demand forecast and align with current vendor supply capacity and production rates. Role is integrated across program operations and requires coordination throughout all phases of work.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast client demand and supplier capacity programmatically to support potential and active projects.
  • Make recommendations to procurement to expand supplier capacity when necessary.
  • Continuously and proactively manage/monitor vendors’ capacity to ensure meeting demand curves.
  • Gather lead time information to inform material requirements planning.
  • Participate in Sales and Operations planning with clients. Make informed recommendations on material release.
  • Assess inventory levels and recommend adjustments to buffer stock.
  • Support Data Integrity Manager to review Master data and review changes and new entries to Material Masters and Bill of Materials.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, and Finance teams to create KPIs on project and supplier performance.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Work with technology team to troubleshoot issues with dashboards.
  • Assist in developing new models for forecasting, capacity, and inventory assessment, and improvements on existing standards and processes as program complexity grows.
  • Other duties, activities, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in functional field with minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
  • Preferred knowledge of supply chains applicable to construction materials and equipment
  • Familiar with planner/buyer activities and inventory control measures
  • Experience with contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
  • Experience with SAP and/or Ariba management systems
  • Experience with data transformation using toolsets such as Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, or others Advanced computer skills, proficient in project management software and MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Limited travel.

The employee occasionally performs work on-site at construction work sites, office locations, and/or off-site venues. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally work in an office or remote setting. The noise in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in an office setting. The employee is required to work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

The salary range for New York City candidates for this position is estimated to be $89,360 - 111,645 annualized.
